Y do some kids get white spots on their skin?
skin pigmentation, its normal. but if your gut tells you otherwise go to the DOC.
Reply:My daughter has that. Both of my daughters. The doctor said it was fat deposits. And if you rub them, they go away for a little while. Nothing serious.
Reply:Im african american and for as long as i can remember, the elders of my family call the light spots "liver splashes" and can be decreased with an increase of water intake..... well now im pregnant so no amount of water can cure em lol....... if drinking more H2O doesnt work, maybe u should go check with your dermatologist...... Reply:It is a condition called "pyteriasis rosia". My daughter had it and her doctor said that it is common. Nothing can be done for it. It will go away in approx. 6 weeks. It is common in all races, but if her skin is darker it shows more than whites. It can leave discoloration spots on the skin or it can all disappear.
