I'am asking asking a serious question and am not trying to be offensive to anyone, I've seen some overweight people mostly lighter skinned african americans with darker skin on their cheeks and some on their foreheads I was wondering could anyone tell me why .
Why do some overweight people have discoloration on their faces?
they also have big butts
Reply:I know what you are talking about, but I don't know why that is or what it's called. I'm really curious now!
Reply:Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, water, and antioxidants give you beautiful skin. If they're overweight, they're probably not eating those things in the first place. Most African Americans eat a lot of fried and starchy foods, which do anything but provide a nice complexion. Besides that, look at where they're from. The heat in Africa doesn't really work wonders for your skin over thousands of years.
Reply:Some people who are not overweight also have discoloration on their faces. Skin discoloration can be caused by many different things...but I don't see how being overweight could cause discoloration on an area like your face that really isn't affected greatly (i.e., doesn't rub against other areas of skin, isn't typically prone to something like stretch marks, etc.) by being overweight. Look around some more and I'm willing to bet you will begin to notice people with similar discolorations who are not overweight.
Reply:People that are overweight and have a discolored face may suffer from something called insulin resistance, which causes the pancreas to overwork itself because of the abundance of carbohydrates like white flour ,sugar and rice and rich sweets. The body produces too much insulin and causes discoloration in different parts of the body , It will go away by simply changing your eating habits for example by eating whole grain carbs like brown rice, whole wheat bread, and sweet potatoes. fruits and vegetables. this causes the insulin to be at normal level and the insulin releases in the blood stream as needed, and the skin goes back to normal.
