Will having a nose piercing for one day leave a mark?

About five days ago I went to get my nose pierced. I immediately disliked and regretted it. The next day I went back to the piercer and had him take it out. There was a scab but it has now fallen off. However, there is some dark discoloration of the skin around the piecing site and what looks like a small indentation. Will any of this go away? I did not even have the stud in for 24 hours.

aha same thing happened to me. no it wont. it will be there til the scab falls off. then a little discoloration but after about a month its gone. no need to worry =]

Reply:yes it will leave a hole in your nose and that is so stuipid to get a nose piecing for one day then take it out you spend all that money for nothing
Reply:i odnt think it will go away completely but it wont be really noticable after its all healed up. =]
Reply:It looks the way it does because it is still healing. Everyone heals different so it might go away completely or there might be a small scar but I wouldn't worry too much about it. It will probably be hardly noticable.
Reply:You'll have a hole for a little while which will heal and probably leave a small scar. The scar might last anywhere from a few months to years depending on how your body reacts to such things.
Reply:Depending on your skin type it may not even leave a mark . I know i had mine pierced for like3 weeks and didn't like it so i took it out and it had no mark what so ever.. Now if you try piercing it threw the scar tissue you are going to get a scar! I did that to my labret and have a scar under my lip! but just don't let it get like all nasty on you may take a little while to heal all the way up !

Just take for example. When you got a cut how long it take to heal? and after it heal does leave a scar? Is the same logic on your nose piercing.


For me I had my nose pierced twice left and right side, I am someone who is so careless, whenever I remove my nose-ring I will loose it and I took 2 weeks to replace one, by then the pierce "hole" already "seal up" (that is why I had 2 nose pierced) and now all the "holes" is totally "seal up" with no marks or scar.
Reply:Two holes should have been enough, you only have 10 fingers you know.
