There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

Reply:use a concealer with a yellowish tone in it
Reply:Try using a yellow based concelaer... dab it on with your pinky and then dab some foundation to blend.. rubbing will only make it workse so be gentle with your application. The yellow helps offset the darkness...

Reply:There are medicinal treatments out there but if you need a quick solution, I have seen concealor work wonders for people. Thats really all the make-up you'll need for that matter. Specifically the M.A.C. brand movie make-up. Don't ask me why I know this and which brand is the best but I do. I am surrounded by women if you have to know and I have had the please of being force to go to Macy's just to buy make-up.
Reply:Mary Kay has the best concealer ever! It is thick but doesn't cake up. It's waterproof too and will last all day. You can put it under your eyes and then use the facial highlighting stick - start at the inner corner of your eye, then under your eye to outside of eye. Using these products always covers up my dark circles. You can get them at http://www.marykay.com/micheleleahjones
