Recently I noticed the skin above my lips has become slightly darker than the rest of my face. It is not hair. It's just pigmeted a little darker. It's not as noticable to others as it is to me, but concealer doesn't look right. Any suggestions?
How can I hide an area of discoloration on my face?
That will disappear in time. Just don't be too conscious about it. Your consciousness will magnify the otherwise negligible skin imperfection. Honestly, people won't care.

Reply:I have been trying to hide something a lot worse than discoloration, and have been doing a lot of research, so you might as well benefit from it.
The best covering makeup you can get outside of the theater-makeup industry is Derma-Blend. It comes in many different forms, and bunches of colors. I'm giving you a link to their website. I haven't seen this brand in drug stores.
One thing I bought as an experiment that might help you is called Physician's Formula Magic Cube. It is strange because it goes on as a cream and immediately turns into a powder. It just seems to be more natural looking than most concealers. I'm sending you a link at drugstore.com.
Now, I am going to suggest that you ask this question again in the make-up category. I asked one question there once, and got about four professional cosmeticians responding.
