Getting rid of the color of Strectch marks?(make them blend into your skin tone)?

I was thinking since there's no way to actually get rid of the stretch marks themselves. Is there away to get rid of the discoloration they cause, like if it's dark then your skin can you make it lighter and if it's lighter can you do something to make then dark. Pretty much, is there a way to make the stretch marks blend into your skin; without surgery...

Getting rid of the color of Strectch marks?(make them blend into your skin tone)?
This what I found for new stretch marks that are raised and red, even if you dont see the red its there.

Medically known as striae rubra. Here lies your best chance of really making an impact upon the ultimate demise of your stretch marks. Your options include:

* Mederma applied 3-4 times daily for an estimated 6-12 months.

* Cellex-C High Potency Serum applied daily for 6-12 months.

* Prescription 0.1% Tretinoin (Retin A 0.1% Cream or Gel) applied nightly (start out every other night until your skin has become adjusted) for 12 months. A non-prescription option includes Afirm 3x. This option is not appropriate if you are pregnant or nursing. Wait until afterwards to try it.

* Treatment with a 585-nm pulsed dye laser. This is not recommended for anyone with a dark skin tone (Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV, V or VI) due to a high risk of permanent increased skin discoloration from the procedure. This is another option to skip while pregnant or nursing.

For older stretch marks:

Medically called striae distensae alba. Let’s be honest; most of you reading this article are far past adolescent growth spurts and may even be looking at what seems like ancient post partum concerns. But there are wonderful opportunities to take an aggressive approach to your stretch marks and try to greatly improve their appearance.

I have received many a hopeless letter from those with older white stretch marks who have been told by their doctor “you needed to do something when they were red, there’s nothing you can do now”. First corollary of medicine: never give up. The good news is you don’t have to.

Here are your options:

* M.D. Forte Hand and Body Cream combined with Cellex-C High Potency Serum. See below for further details.

* M.D. Forte Hand and Body Cream combined with either Renova or Afirm 3x. Please see below for more information.

* Microdermabrasion

* N-Lite Laser

* 585-nm Pulsed Dye Laser

Reply:Time....or makeup.
Reply:well if they are dark you can get them to fade with mederma but if they are lighter nothing you can do---unfortunately there is no way to blend them in -if so no one would have to have them cuz we would all blend them in
Reply:This is not a permanent solution, but if you're worried about them when you go out, there is a body cover up called Dermablend, and it works wonders for covering up flaws. It is intended to cover scars and tattoos. It costs $25 or so, but is well worth it. Search Dermablend on google and there will be plenty of sites that sell it.
Reply:Get those vitamin E pills and stick a pin in them and rub the liquid on your strech marks it worked for me.
