You're a very odd little lump, aren't you?

So, the past few days this has REALLY been bothering me.

I have this odd little bump-lump under my arm pit.

It's under the skin, so there's no discoloration or anything.

It's just a firm little, under the skin bump.

It's sore, and bothering me.

I can't participate fully in gym thanks to it, because we're doing bad mitten, and it hurts to lift my arm terribly high or swing terribly hard.

Any idea what this may be?

For all I know, it may just be a tiny little fat deposit.

But I want it to go away.

Now.

You're a very odd little lump, aren't you?
Your little lump may just be an infected hair follicle, or it may be a swollen lymph gland. It's difficult to say without seeing it, which is why you need to see a doctor. If you have an infection (even of a hair follicle) you may need an antibiotic.

What I can tell you is the more you notice something like this, the harder it is to leave it alone and not keep pressing or squeezing it. And the more you do this, the more swollen it will become, so you must leave the bothersome lump alone.

A doctor can advise on how to get rid of it, once you know what it is.

Good luck!
Reply:%26gt;.%26gt; bluesbro... was indeed, correct. I just didn't get here in time to vote him best answer. Report It

Reply:wife had something like this when she was a kid....go to the doctor's probably just a benign (non harmful) growth....

but it could portend something greater...

don't delay...check it out
Reply:Bumps or lumps under the armpit may indicate lymph-node problems.
Reply:It could just be a plugged sweat duct or swollen gland but it is best to see your doctor to have it checked out. Hope it gets better soon!
