Do i have toe fungus or something else?

my toe has signs of fungus, discoloration of nail, callus, flaking of skin, but i also feel the toe joint to be weaker and the toe in general to feel slightly numb, i have no idea what it could be, fungus? ulcers? i dont know, help would be appreciated

Reply:That is an odd one to me. I would definitely go to the drs, especially with the toe joint feeling weeker, and the numbing, sounds like circulation is not well. Do you have diabetes?
Reply:Maybe you stubbed it on something. If it was a toe fungus it would be between your toes. If it was a nail fungus it would first show up looking like dark splinters under the nail.
Reply:Sounds like you have some type of bacteria infection, defintely fungi (yeast, mold related) in your toe/toes. You need to see a podiatrist immediately...especially since you are feeling a weakness, loss of sensation in your one toe. Good luck.

Reply:sounds a little like gout. you can have the doc check your uric acid level to know for sure. watch what you eat, no red meat, tomatoes, alcohol, for a couple days to see if its better. goodluck.
Reply:You should go see a Podiatrist because it can be dangerous. If it is an infection and you don't treat it soon , then you are risking them cutting your toe.


Especially if you have a weak immune system. Diabetic
