Which foundation is best?

I have combination skin with a little bit of discoloration (frekles and blotches, circles under the eyes, etc). I don't like to look too heavily made-up, but I do like good coverage. What foundations do you suggest?

Which foundation is best?
I don't know where you live, but I swear by MAC makeup, and if you can you should try it too. The next time you're at the mall, so into the store and tell them what you want. They'll try the foundations on until you get the look you want. You don't even have to buy anything right away... you can keep the makeup on and see if you like it and then go back to buy it. I really like their concealer and their studio fix liquid foundation.
Reply:Mary Kay!!!!!!

It provides good coverage without feeling like pancake makeup!
Reply:I would go with a mineral loose powder foundation, doesn't look heavy at all.....and its good for your skin! Bare minerals was the first but I think all the drug stores carry them now. I think Maybeline and Loreal are the latest ones to hit the market.
Reply:clinique is awesome and they have really good foundation for combination skin.
Reply:Mineral foundation in the correct shade for your skintone. Applied correctly, It will give you beautiful coverage and be very weightless and look natural.

MMU takes a little getting used to. You have to practice with it to get the right technique. But once you do, it is fantastic stuff. :)
Reply:Hey, any good brand foundation will do but it should

be liquid form, not paste.

apply mixing on your palm with your moisturizer.

then gently apply not only on your face also on the neck.
Reply:If you would like an affordable option, I can't say enough about Loreal True Match foundation. I also hate pancake foundation - it feels awful. Several years ago, when I was just trying whatever came along and had tons of different bottles of foundation, I found out that I liked Loreal best. Their foundation was, by far, the lightest. A few years ago they came out with True Match, and I really found the perfect match for my skin. I don't think you have to spend a fortune on make-up to look and feel good, so I get most products (except for my skin, in which case I use Clinque or things from the salon) from the drugstore.

Note: One of the most important things about foundation is putting it on and taking it off. At your local drugstore, buy a pack of application sponges. Put some moisturizer on your face first. Tip the foundation bottle with your finger against the top, and see how much make-up is on your fingertip. Put a dot on your forehead, one on each cheek, and spread the last glob between your chin and nose. Spread over skin, and then use the sponge to remove access and smooth into your hairline and jawline.

I use Ponds of Neutragena cleansing and make-up remover clothes in the evening to take all of my make-up off before I go into skin care. It's the easiest, most gentle and thorough way to make sure that all of the make-up is gone.
Reply:MAC OR MARY KATE OR LORIALE
Reply:my mom uses bare minerals and she has feckles amd uneven skin tone.
Reply:Just do what Eriiibearii says. She is extraordinarily intelligent.
Reply:Bare Minerals - it feels like you're not wearing make up, looks natural and doesnt have that disgusting cakey feeling %26amp; look. it also wont clog up your pores and it is SPF 15. The price isnt bad and if you fall asleep with it on, you have nothing to worry about , you wont wake up with break outs and surprises on your face.
