A small tiny under-the-skin bump in my right armpit?

I recently noticed that for a while I've had this tiny smaller than a pea sized bump under my skin in the right armpit only. This bump can't be noticed...you have to pinch that little area of the skin to feel it and trap it like a tiny ball. There's no discoloration its just the same as my skin color. It's only under the skin... you can't see it with the naked eye. I plan on seeing the doctor for this.

My question is is this just a cyst or swollen lymph nodes? I don't think its lymphoma or anything is it?

Does it hurt? If it does, it is probably an ingrown hair or a cyst. If it gets bigger, see a doctor immediately.
Reply:most likely just an ingrown hair.......
Reply:There are a ton of things it could be. If it feels attached to the skin then it is not a lymph node. It's good that you plan on seeing a doctor. Be sure to tell them if there is sensitivity in the area and about any other differences in the way that you feel even if it seems completely unrelated.
Reply:Probably an infected pore (folliculitis).

If it continues to bother you or gets infected,

see a doctor.
Reply:well its probally nothing major. it sounds liek something trivial but if things liek that run in your family, u might want to get it checked...
Reply:You sound very concerned about it. I don't blame you for wanting to voice your concern. It's a way for you to feel a sense of empowerment.

I'm not a physician so I wont venture a guess. But, I think you're 'right on' for getting it off your chest. Don't worry, your doctor's going to address the situation.

Try to be positive and relax until you find out for sure. Hopefully, it's something easily taken care of. In fact, it probably is.

God bless,
