I live in a very hot and humid country, so makeup tends to get all cakey and very shiny on my face, i have tried, lancome its to dark, i have tried estee lauder its to much of a yellow on my skin, i have tried clinique its good but very cakey, i loved revlon but i felt it was kind of dark, and maybelline worked good too but a little white/pink toned, and cover girl we dont have available here but my mom sent me some and also is cakey and shiny, IM STUCK!! i dont know what to use, i have a fair color of skin, im not olive skin, a little lighter than that, usually my foundation colors are a nautrual beige, beige, in those categorys, i dont want bronzed look, and i dont want my makeup to look to light becuz i have some discoloration in my skin of yellow tones, i need something with an spf of course since its so hot here in dubai, and ive tried makeup counters but the sales ladys always give me the wrong color, i need help what found. is good for me, (dont recomend bare minerals).

Can you tell what is wrong read below?
After having sex with a lady my condom broke them after few weeks I noticed a change on my skin on the head of my penis.My skin on the base are maore red and spot are on different part of the head, but is not painfull and the skin its geeting very dry. I Iook at picture of all posible STDs and none just resambles any discoloration of the skin Like the one I have . Just incase I am taking antibotic .If anybody can tell what it wrong with me? or have the same occurt to them and when to a doctor? What medicine did he recommend you? Thanks

I have a brown spot popping up on both ankles What could this be?
I'm a 20 year old male caucasian in good physical condition.
I have have been developing a small discoloration of the skin on both interior sections on ankles (orangish-brownish speckled discoloration). The right one is a little larger than the left. There is no pain, itching, or change in sensation/touch. The area is also normal in texture.
I don't have any family history of skin cancer or any other known cancer. Also, that area of my skin is never exposed to any form of ultraviolet light (that includes the sun).
I was wondering if it could be some sort internal bodily disorder/disease or an actual skin disorder.

The only form of medication I take is an over the counter sleep aid: "Simply Sleep/diphenhydramine."

I am 27. I shaved my pits when I was in high school but stopped my junior year. From then on I've tweezed my pits and now not so much grows back. But in the recent years I've noticed that the area is darker. I have light skin and the discoloration under my arms is very noticable. I've never used depilitory or wax in the area.

My dog has what I think is candida (spelled right?) What can I do about this?
Shes terribly itchy all the time, she has skin and fur discoloration, and she smells like a dead fish when she gets hot. She burps a lot too, though that might be cause shes a dog...
She has no health problems, no stress in her life, and for the last three months I have been feeding her "wolf king" grain free food (she dosent like the grain free foods much, and wolf king smells like oregano or something, I dont reccomend it -and neither does she!) She has no fleas, and any allergens that might have been around have been taken care of - unless she's alergic to people I guess.
None of this has helped.
The stupid Vet has been giving her prednisone and antibiotics since she was a puppy. I almost punched him in the eye when I found out about this, because shes not sick, nor has she ever been! He said it was "good preventative maintenace"
I assume that she has candida, since she has all the symptoms and has been on steroids and antibiotics for two years.
What do I do?

I recommend an allergy test, that is the only way to rule them out or know exactly what bothers her. Food allergies account for only ten percent of them. So, switching food often helps little to not at all. Most are environmental...weeds, grasses, trees, house dust/mites, etc. Plus, dogs often have multiple allergies. One of mine has nearly thirty and the only sign is yeast ear infections. There are three things you can do to treat them. The best thing is reducing/eliminating exposure to the allergen(s), steroid drugs (prednisone, for example...but none are good/safe long term) or hyposensitization (builds a tolerance to the allergen). The allergy test isn't cheap ($250), but it saves so much time, effort and money in the long run and helps the dog much quicker than trial and error. Good luck, with whatever you decide.
ETA: If you have the test done: You get a booklet when test results come back, lots of helpful information. Along w/them, you get a print out of safe foods...for that particular dog. Pay close attention to the list though, b/c one brand of dry might be safe, but that same brand's canned might not be...depends on the ingredients. For instance, my dog can have Nature's Recipe 'easy-to-digest chicken meal, rice and barley' DRY, but not the Nature's Recipe 'easy-to-digest chicken meal, rice and barley' CANNED...because the canned contains potatos and carrots, both of which he's allergic too. It's natural to assume if a brand is safe, all of that brand's products are...but it's not true.
ETA: I forgot, has the vet tried anti-fungal pills, like Ketoconazole? You might want to check into that too.

Well, obviously, take her off of the antibiotics. Also, I would find a new vet as there is probably now some sort of skin treatment she needs. Give her a good bath and possibly a little bit of yogurt to encourage her good bacteria (not too much or you'll make her sick to her stomach).
Good luck with that. I would let whatever new vet you find know about what this vet has been doing. There are regulations for how many steroids they should be prescribing and unneccasary antibiotics can make a dog very ill.
Reply:Achidophilis [sp?] I give it when I give anitbitoics to my little ones. Male and Female. Depending on the size, I would poke a pin into the capsule and put a two drops on a snack 2 times a day. They were approx. 6 lbs.

Reply:Sounds like she has skin mites. Its actually a type of mange. She needs to have a skin scrape done, and the doctor can give her the right antibiotic. She doesnt need any steriods. My dog just got over this and sounds the same, she might start to loose her fur too. But it will grow back and the smell will go away.

What kind of dog is she. If she's having recurring skin infections than your right it's probably an allergy of some kind. The vet should have done specific allergy testing on her to see what exactly she's allergic too. Not just pump her full of steroids and antibiotics. Sounds lazy to me.
First find a new vet, then get her on some kind of really good food. Have you looked at Candie?
I've had my Golden's on this for over a year now and I tell ya not skin issues here any more. Not one hot spot this summer either. I'm very pleased and very happy with their appearance and their over all health.
Dan non makes a yogurt now for getting the stomach and intestines back to normal balance. I'd pick some up and feed it to her just a bit at a time but geezer the poor girl!
Do you live near any Veterinary School Colleges?? If you do than I'd get her there for a look over.
They do have specialists for skin issues.

Can I use mederma on my chin to get rid of tweezing scars??
so,i tweezed hair out of my chin and now i have discoloration, my skin is fair/light and i have dark hair!! but if i use mederma will i start to get ingrown hairs, im also waiting for them to grow so i will start waxing instead. i hate this!!!!!!!!! plz help!

you can use mederma.. but i would suggest a creme called Ambi even and clear that you can get at walmart for like 5 bucks. it is amazing. my skin looks like porcelain.

Why does my penis feel this way?
My penis hurts, like a sore kinda hurt, and its weird cuz there is not discharge, it doesnt hurt when i touch or rub on it, it doesnt hurt when i pee, there no blood, it looks just the same there is no discoloration, or skin changes. it just hurts like when im sitting down or laying down, and it feels like it might be by the head underneath, and i havent had sex in a long time, so its not an std. and its not a real bad pain, but its an annoying one, because you guys know that is a sensitive area. have any of you guys gone through this before?
